Last year, UMass created a program, methodology, and tool to assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies in reducing risk exposure. UMass presented about this new program at last year’s regional conference and, now having fully launched the program, UMass will share lessons learned, demonstrate the updated tool, show how the data generated through the program is being used, and discuss how the mitigation assessment program has impacted its overall ERM Program.

Objectives:
+ Learn how to leverage governance structure to identify and document risk mitigation strategies
+ Learn how risk mitigation strategy assessment information can be utilized and shared
